The British Chambers of Commerce and the Birmingham Chamber Group are delighted to invite you to join our Business Debate at the 2010 Conservative Party Conference. Senior Government and Opposition figures, including Rt Hon George Osborne MP, Chancellor of the Exchequer (Invited), will debate with business representatives the Government's programme to secure economic recovery against the backdrop of managing the deficit. This event is being kindly hosted and sponsored by GVA Grimley at their premises in Brindley Place in Birmingham city-centre.

Issues for discussion are likely to include: the economic outlook, promoting enterprise, spending cuts versus investment, international trade, regulation. red tape and infrastructure investment. We believe this event will provide Chamber members with a powerful opportunity to influence the approach of the new Government to the UK business environment and hope very much that you will be able to join us to have your say on the future of UK plc. The event will take place from 12.30 to 14.00 on Monday 4th October 2010 and is free to attend with complimentary lunch and wine. Please refer any questions to Katie Teasdale at k.teasdale@birminghamchamber.org.uk in the first instance.
