Birmingham Chamber prides itself on being one the most influential business support organisations in the Midlands. As you would expect, an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the local business community is essential in our aim to deal effectively with a range of different clients.

The Chamber is based in Edgbaston and employs over 130 staff. Solihull Chamber has a small team based at Birmingham International Park near Birmingham Airport and utilises the key resources located at Birmingham Chamber.

The Chamber has a clear corporate plan formulated with specific business objectives allocated to individual members of the Executive team. Staff are set annual performance objectives linked to the plan.

Inherent in the corporate plan is the recognition given to the contribution that each member of staff makes to the achievement of the business objectives.

At the Chamber we recognise that our people drive our performance and that of the businesses we support. Our staff possess a wide variety of skills and qualifications in professional, specialist, administrative and support functions. The continuing development of staff is vital to the success of the Chamber and the achievement of its business objectives.

The Chamber prides itself on the delivery of quality services to its members. Achievements to date include the BS EN ISO 9001 (2000) quality standard which was achieved in January 2004, Investors in People National Standard and Accredited Status by the Association of British Chambers of Commerce.
