Birmingham Chamber of Commerce and Industry is steeped in history having been established for over 200 years but, like the business environment over the decades, it has changed and adapted accordingly. 

Today’s Chamber is a modern, innovative, membership-based business support organisation that can help you rise to the opportunities, challenges and demands facing businesses of all sectors.

Birmingham Chamber is an accredited member of the British Chamber of Commerce and over the years has established itself to become the prominent independent business voice in Birmingham and the West Midlands.

With almost 3,500 members representing over 170,000 employees in member
businesses, Birmingham Chamber has much to offer today’s businesses whether it is a small to medium enterprise or company employing over 10,000 people.

The membership is highly representative of all industry sectors from professional and financial services to manufacturing, property and construction, retail and wholesale, to the rapidly growing creative, arts and media sector.

Through its annual events programme, Birmingham Chamber has become one of the most active in the country. With an annual programme of over 200 events including networking opportunities, seminars and workshops, speaker events, specialist interest clubs such as sales and marketing, specialist groups such as the Institute of Asian
Businesses, to conferences and exhibitions, there’s something for every member to take advantage of.

Supported by a number of member benefits including a free, confidential, telephone legal advice helpline, members are also able to promote their products and services to other members in a number of ways such as on the Chamber’s website, through sponsorship of events and in publications such as Chamberlink - our member magazine.
