How it works
On being referred to us for the self-employment option by your Jobcentre Plus adviser, you will undergo an initial assessment of you and your business idea, which is followed by an induction programme.
Once completed, you move to undertake a module-based programme, to which you must commit four weeks of at least 30 hours per week.

On completion of the above, you will have produced a business plan and you will then move into self-employment and be supported for 26 weeks.
This will include regular one-to-one meetings with your business adviser, telephone support and electronic communication where facilities exist.
